Salaried franchisor compliance officer and outside salesperson alleged wrongful termination as a result of his disability, failure to accommodate and failure to engage in an interactive process. He was immediately terminated after provided a physician’s note extending his medial leave as a result of a arthroscopic knee surgery. He had requested reasonable accommodations to continue working from home for a short time period during his continued recovery. Case settled.
