Security guards alleged PAGA causes of action against a security guard staffing agency on behalf of aggrieved employees for rest break violations. The rest break policy provided to employee attempted to have employees waive their rest breaks or agree to on-duty rest breaks. Per Brinker, employers are required to provide employees with rest breaks every four hours or major fraction thereof and cannot waive said rest breaks.  Case Settled.
